The EXPO tradeshow, held in conjunction with the Ontario Recreation Facilities Association's Annual Professional Development Program, is the largest and most successful event for organizations that specialize in products and services of interest to those who work in the recreation facility industry. Over 80 exhibitors display at this event which is anticipated to attract over 600 attendees including:
  • Participants from ORFA's Annual Professional Development Program
  • Facility owners, directors, managers, supervisors from both public and private sectors
  • Municipal councillors, administrative personnel and purchasing agents
  • Architects, consultants, engineers.

NEW for 2010!

  1. Revised Floor Plan: better integration of buffet set-up and dinner seating on the exhibit floor
  2. ORFA Awards Presentation: moved from the Monday evening banquet to be held centre stage during the tradeshow, prior to dinner, with course participants, instructors and invited guests present.
  3. Enhanced and prolonged attendance from course participants:
    • all courses will end at 3:15 pm on the Wednesday afternoon; participants will be required to attend the show as part of
    • required class attendance
    • all course participants will receive a complimentary ORFA t-shirt
    • all course participants will receive a complimentary buffet dinner
    • door prizes will be distributed at appointed times throughout the show
  4. 2010 Sponsorship Program: a revised and updated list of business opportunities for Corporate members to sponsor key ORFA events and initiatives throughout 2010.

Exhibitor Move In and Set-up: 7:00 am to 12 Noon

Carpet Cleaning: 12 Noon to 2:00 pm (NO EXHIBITORS WILL BE PERMITTED IN THE HALL DURING THIS TIME)

Show Hours: 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Cash Bar Opens: 4:30 pm (and complimentary pizza appetizers)

ORFA Awards Presentation: 5:30 pm to 5:45 pm

Dinner Buffet: 5:45 pm to 7:30 pm

Door Prizes: 5:45 pm to 7:30 pm

Exhibitor Tear Down and Move Out: 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm


Exhibitor Registration and Confirmation

Please review the enclosed tradeshow layout and select your preferred booth location. Exhibit space will be allocated on a first-come, first-paid basis with booth locations provided on a first right of refusal basis to ORFA Corporate members until March 1, 2010. Exhibitors must be a current Corporate member in good standing prior to March 1, 2010. All remaining booth space will be available to all interested parties (member and non member) at the stated rates. DEADLINE FOR ALL EXHIBIT REGISTRATIONS:

FRIDAY, APRIL 9, 2010. Exhibitor confirmations will be sent once registration and payment are processed.
