Honda Recreation Centre -Facility Operator-

Health Systems Group is currently seeking a part-time (20-40 hrs/wk), overnight Facility Operator to fill a temporary contract position at the Honda Recreation Centre in Alliston, Ontario.  Reporting to the General Manager, the Facility Operator will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and operation of the facility. Duties include arena operations, building maintenance, ice flooding, and basic maintenance and repair.

Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates with the following

• Secondary school diploma or suitable equivalent.
• Previous training and/or practical experience in facility and arena maintenance.
• Valid and unrestricted Ontario Class G driver’s license
• Ontario Recreation Facilities Association Certified Ice Technician or post secondary education or accreditation in related facilities management. 
• Team player, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Customer Service oriented.
• Ability to perform all duties of this physically active position including heavy lifting.
