Parks & Facilities Supervisor

Managing the day-to-day supervision of the Burford Community Centre and other properties, you will handle the distribution of work, including planning and scheduling and oversee the operation of community facilities and parks. Dedicated to recreation, you will act as a liaison with users, groups, and community organizations to foster the development of parks and events in Brant in addition to looking after operational and capital budgets. Responsible for the upkeep of equipment, buildings, and property, you are certified in basic refrigeration and knowledgeable in ice resurfacing and grounds maintenance and equipment. You have a post-secondary education in parks and facility operations (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) and a minimum of two years of experience at the supervisory level. Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, you are certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED. A valid Class G driver’s licence with access to a vehicle is required.

Salary Range: $53,350 – $67,504 (under review)
