ANOTHER INTAKE FOR INFRASTRUCTURE STIMULUS FUND

We are excited to share with you that the Governments of Canada (Infrastructure Canada) and Ontario (Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure) have announced another intake for the Infrastructure Stimulus Fund (ISF) which is open to Not-For-Profits.

Please note the application deadline is Tuesday August 18, 2009 at 5 p.m. (EST) Please share this information with any relevant organizations. Eligible Project Categories include: Temporary Housing Shelters; Community Centres, Community Services and Culture/Heritage.
Important:
- This is a 1/3 cost-sharing program between the Federal and Provincial government and another funding partner.
- The asset must be owned by the Not-For-Profit.
- The project must be completed by March 31, 2011 - priority will be given to projects that will spend more than 40% of the project budget before March 31, 2010.
- Total eligible project costs must be not less than $750,000 and not greater than $15 million. (substantial renovations and new builds are eligible).
- Intake is limited to one application per organization.
- The application is an online intake. You must request a user account ID and password to complete the application. There are additional documents that MUST be provided with your application. Please review the program guide closely.
