Keeping in touch…..
The Ontario Arenas Alumni Family…is a non profit volunteer organization managed by a Management Team. The Management Team is a dedicated core of volunteers that have taken on specific roles under the leadership of President Bud Stanley.
The Ontario Arenas Alumni Family is a husband and wife/companion organization that is primarily made up of current/retired facility staff, suppliers, and from related disciplines that still and or have interfaced with facility operators. Their prime interest is to remain in the loop, “keep in touch” through the Alumni’s major conduit… The NEWS…that is published six times a year. The Alumni also provides the opportunity for their members to gather once a year, for two days to renew acquaintances and bond. The event ends with an Awards and Recognition Dinner…the annual event is known as the Annual Alumni Family Gathering.
The primary goal of the publication is to capture newsworthy stories of the Alumni membership.
Sustaining the financial viability of the Alumni, is accomplished through affordable annual membership fees (currently $60.00), Annual Harvest Table and through unsolicited donations from the membership. Widows and Life Members are exempt from paying annual membership fees.
ORFA retirees are eligible for a “one year Alumni complimentary membership”, subject to an approval process by ORFA’s CAO and the Alumni President (current Alumni members do not qualify).
