ORFA 2023 VIRTUAL ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND INFORMATION SESSION

Please note that the 2023 Annual General Meeting of the Members of the Ontario Recreation Facilities Association Inc. will be a virtual meeting commencing at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 6, 2023.
As a member of ORFA, this is your opportunity to be a participant as the following business items are reviewed:
- Approve the Minutes of the virtual Annual General Meeting held Wednesday, December 7, 2022.
- Receive the President's Report
- Receive the Administration and Finance Committee Report
- Presentation of the December 31, 2022, Audited Financial Statements
- Confirmation of auditor/accounting firm for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2023
- Receive Awards and Recognition Committee Report
- Transact any other business that may properly be brought before the meeting
- The AGM will be followed by a webinar:

Voting at the AGM is only available to eligible designated voting members or via a designated proxy. The voting by proxy deadline is 12:00 Noon on Friday, December 1, 2023.
NOTE
- The AGM is a member only event - please register in advance to attend.
- This event qualifies for six (6) professional development recertification credits for any ORFA professional designation. You must attend the virtual event and participate in the ORFA Information Session.

WEBINAR: ORFA Training, Research and Development Update

ORFA staff will provide a recap of investments made by the organization over the last year to improve certification, education, and awareness to the membership.
A positive financial position allows for significant reinvestment of resources to ensure that the ORFA remains an “industry leader”. This includes building ongoing relationships with key governing agencies and ministries to ensure our efforts and resources align with their priorities and in doing so, helps ensure we remained focused on emerging issues.
Join this session to learn what strategic goals are deemed a priority in 2024 and beyond for the primary professional development pillars of aquatics, refrigeration and ice, grounds, buildings, and administration.
