ANNOUCEMENT
The ORFA continues to advance the implementation of a strategic plan that has been extended through 2027 following a dedicated Board and staff team building process to arrive at five key strategic goals. With all goals established to help guide and shape the ORFA vision and mission.
In the goal area of Strategic Alliances, the ORFA continues to align with other organizations that advance the core business and creates positive end results. The ORFA is pleased to announce professional development partnerships have been solidified with Marmak and Loverock Inc. Both long standing members of the ORFA and industry leaders that continue to support our members during these changing times.
John and Zack Tarantino, Marmak have been instrumental in the evolution of recreation facility asset management (RFAM) and continue to grow a solution of offerings and garner a superb reputation for delivering cost effective tools related to asset management, preventative maintenance, inspections, work order management, and many more. More recently, the creation of the Sub-Zero digital ice management solution provides facility owners with industry leading modules for digitally recording ice depth checks, plant readings and ice-resurfacer maintenance activities. With different modules offered as a no-cost benefit of ORFA membership, the ORFA is pleased to both acknowledge and expand a collaboration agreement in different ORFA professional development events with Marmak.
Dave Loverock, Loverock Inc. is well known in the recreation facilities profession and has recently started his own consulting business that focuses on water and ice quality. As a previous ice making and painting instructor, Dave joins the ORFA's research and development team to help build and share important practical information for the next generation of practitioners while continuing to offer his services to members who want to purchase the right equipment to meet their building design and operational needs.
Both and Marmak and Loverock Inc. are considered ORFA collaborative professional development partners as we strive to provide leadership in the development and delivery of innovative professional development, value-added services, and quality products for the benefit of the recreation facilities profession.
They are also a value-added component of ORFA's Operational Audit Service that is offered to assist members in meeting today's recreation facility operations and management challenges.
