May, 2017 - In 2017, Canada celebrates its 150th anniversary of Confederation. #150RecFacilities is an Ontario Recreation Facilities Association participation-oriented initiative. This is an opportunity for ORFA members operating or managing a facility to share how your facility has impacted the community and built a sense of pride and attachment to Canada.

The ORFA will post all stories received on ORFA.COM and share them through social media. Three stories will be selected and published in Facility Forum magazine with a submission deadline of September 30, 2017.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Complete the online form at www.orfa.com/150RecFacilities. You will be asked to:

• Share how your recreation facility has impacted your community.
• Highlight what your employer will be doing to celebrate Canada150 and how your recreation facilityis involved.
• Share your thoughts on being a Canadian and the role that recreation facilities plays in our country.
• Submit a photo and maximum 500 words.
• Please add your social media profile and connect with the us @orfainc
