Special Members Meeting (Virtual)

Please be advised that notice of a virtual Special Meeting has been called for members of the Ontario Recreation Facilities Association Inc. (ORFA) by the Board of Directors for Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 9:30 am (Eastern Time).

The purpose of the meeting is to:

1. Approve the Annual Meeting minutes of Wednesday, December 4, 2024.
2. Approve an updated General Operating By-laws of the ORFA to comply with the Ontario Not-for-Profit Corporations Act. 
3. Approve the audited financial statement for the year ending December 31, 2024.

The ORFA Board of Directors have diligently included staff, legal counsel and both the ORFA Administration and Finance Committee, as well as the Membership Committee recommendations in a proposed General Operating By-laws that was unanimously approved at the Board Meeting of March 5, 2025.

The Special Members Meeting is a member only event.

NOTE Voting at the Special Members Meeting is only available to eligible designated voting members or via a designated voting proxy. The proxy deadline is 12:00 Noon on Friday, June 20, 2025.
