Virtual, Friday, May 22, 2026 - 8:30 am to 12 Noon

Build customized WHMIS training for your workplace with expert guidance from WSPS. This DIY workshop provides tools, templates, and resources to help you prepare for the MLITSD Occupational Hygiene Campaign 2025–2026 focused on WHMIS Training.

Workshop Overview

This workshop is a hands-on session designed to help organizations move beyond generic training and build customized WHMIS programs tailored to their workplace chemical hazards and work environments. With expert facilitation, participants will work through practical exercises using provided templates and tools.

By the end of the session, participants will leave with a ready-to-use framework, resources, and tools to confidently deliver workplace-specific WHMIS training that improves compliance, strengthens chemical safety, and protects workers.

Participants are encouraged to come to the session prepared:

  • Review How to Read a WHMIS Safety Data Sheet

An email with the workshop tools will be emailed to you before the session.
