The last week of May offered the first extreme heat warning and  followed the extreme weather and storm that ripped through the lower part of the province and left a path of destroyed recreational greenspaces.  Greenspaces that were most likely just being cleaned up from winters damage and we are still officially in spring.

An ORFA member summed up these events as being the “new norm”. As members bring in seasonal staff, it is a good time to refresh full-time workers and new hires on these risks.
